Eventually, I joined PARIS AQUATIQUE, an inclusive swimming association (LGBT). I sought an environment where I could focus on my main goal: learning to swim, without expending unnecessary energy pretending to be someone I'm not or fighting against societal pressures.<\/span><\/p>

My training sessions were not a walk in the park. I experienced muscle cramps, intense tensions, and suffered from insomnia. Additionally, I felt like an outsider in a group of swimmers where I was always the last one.<\/span><\/p>

But something compelled me to persevere in these uncharted territories. After five months of dedicated and forced practice, I finally experienced a few seconds of well-being. I knew that changes were happening, which encouraged me to continue. I was fortunate to be athletic and have excellent buoyancy, so I had no excuse not to succeed.
