With the pleasure of swimming in pools and the sea, I started swimming with a mindful awareness of the physical parameters - the environment, my body, and its components - as well as the importance of the mind. As a result, I was able to focus on the sensations while preserving my energy to seek harmony with the water. I improved my technique, the management of my breathing, and playing with the water. Strangely, I discovered that my sensations improve even after long breaks without swimming.
Over time, I understood that I wasn't made for speed but for endurance. Even though my times are not good in both cases. Open water swimming, being less stressful, is better suited to my diesel-mode functioning. I enjoyed swimming my only open water competition, savoring the journey to get there. I am grateful for the support of my loved ones and coaches.
