The massage brings many benefits but on condition that it is adapted to the person who receives it and that there are no contraindications. Before our first massage, I will ask you a few questions to get to know you better and better meet your expectations. Your answers will be kept in the strictest confidence

The massage has always been lavished in all latitudes, in various forms even if techniques are found in many massages. Manoeuvres, rhythms and pressures allow many virtuous combinations, as well as synergies with massage oils combined with essential oils.

Massage brings three physiological, psychological and physical benefits whether you are asleep or awake.

On a psychological level, massage:

  • Releases nervous, mental, emotional tension, fights stress and anxiety,
  • Reinforces the feeling of self-esteem and self-confidence by a better appropriation of one's body thanks to the feeling of touch,
  • Brings a feeling of well-being and of being considered.

On a physiological level, massage:

  • Stimulates the body by increasing body metabolism, stimulates the work of the emunctories (skin, lungs, liver, intestines and kidneys) which filter and evacuate body operating waste,
  • Activates blood circulation, lymphatic circulation and promotes the evacuation of waste products from muscular activity (carbon dioxide and lactic acid),
  • Acts on the cardiovascular system by nervous relaxation and by the vasodilation it provides, it also ensures better oxygenation of the blood and contributes to lowering blood pressure,
  • Calms the central nervous system,
  • On a hormonal level, massage:
    • Stimulates the production of hormones (endorphins, dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, norepinephrine, etc.),
    • Allows better sleep by nervous relaxation, as well as by increasing serotonin, precursor of melatonin,
    • Lowers the production of cortisol, the stress hormone.
  • Strengthens the immune system

On a physical level, the massage:

  • Helps release muscle tension, firm and tone muscles and prepare them for physical exertion. It alleviates some muscle pain,
  • Softens and tones the skin by massage but also thanks to a good synergy of massage oils,
  • Allows a warm-up of the muscle before an effort,
  • Helps regulate breathing.

Essential oils have antiseptic, diuretic, osmotic and bioelectric properties.

⚠️ Their use is not trivial. There are contraindications to the use of some of them. Their use always requires compliance with safety rules, especially when dosing them. A questionnaire will allow me to select the most suitable oils.

⚠️ Pregnant women: I have not been trained in the massage of pregnant women. If you are pregnant, please let us know!
